A man selling methamphetamine in the city was apprehended by law enforcement in Zaporizhzhia.
On December 17, while patrolling the Oleksandrivskyi district, law enforcement officers noticed a young man who visibly became anxious and attempted to avoid an encounter upon their arrival. During a cursory search, the police discovered that the individual was in possession of zip bags containing a crystalline substance, which is preliminarily identified as methamphetamine, weighing over 70 grams in total.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Zaporizhzhia region reported this.
The offender turned out to be a 28-year-old resident of Zaporizhzhia with a prior criminal record. He was apprehended based on Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
Investigators have informed the detainee of the suspicion of committing an offense under part 2 of Article 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of this article provides for a prison sentence of six to ten years with confiscation of property.
