A suspected robber was apprehended in Kryvyi Rih after snatching a mobile phone and fleeing the scene.

At the scene, the police took the applicant and her husband into their patrol car. The victim from Kryvyi Rih reported that while he was opening the entrance door, an unknown individual snatched his mobile phone and fled.

The applicant stated that she had the geolocation of her husband's device, which allowed us to quickly determine the probable location of the suspect.

At one of the pawn shops in the Dovhyntsivskyi district, the staff recognized the assailant based on the description provided by the victim.

The pawn shop refused to accept the phone without documents, so the suspect left, promising to return with his passport.

The patrol officers searched the surrounding area and spotted a man matching the description. The individual attempted to flee from the police but was stopped just a hundred meters away, and handcuffs were applied to him.

The suspected robber was handed over to the investigators of the Kryvorizhzhia District Police Department No. 3.
