Two attackers were apprehended in Zaporizhzhia for assaulting a taxi driver with the intent to steal his money.
According to the investigation, on January 15, 2025, two young men executed a planned robbery against a taxi driver in Zaporizhia, seizing his belongings.

The press service of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this.
After getting into the car, the men threatened the driver with a knife and a firearm, demanding money. Fearing for his life and safety, the driver handed over the 1500 UAH he had, stopped the vehicle, and quickly exited it.
Currently, the suspects have been detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and the issue of applying a preventive measure in the form of detention is being addressed.
