In Zaporizhzhia, a vehicle was found showing signs of tampering with its identification numbers.

Recently, patrol officers stopped a Skoda Felicia vehicle. During the inspection of the vehicle's identification numbers, the inspectors discovered signs of mechanical damage to the VIN code.

To establish all the circumstances, the patrol called in an investigative team, which temporarily seized the vehicle.

It is known that the investigators have opened a criminal proceeding under Article 290 (Destruction, forgery, or alteration of numbers of vehicle parts and assemblies) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
