In Kryvyi Rih, police uncovered a man with a forged passport.

On February 12, police stopped a resident on one of the streets in the Central City District. While checking the documents of the 35-year-old man, the police officer noticed clear signs of forgery. To investigate the circumstances, a forensic team from the Kryvyi Rih District Police Department was dispatched to the scene.

The police confiscated a counterfeit document and sent it for expert examination.

On February 21, the employees of the investigation department informed the offender about the suspicion under Part 1 and Part 4 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – forgery of documents, seals, stamps, and forms, as well as the sale or use of forged documents, seals, and stamps. Subsequently, the materials of the criminal proceedings regarding this matter will be forwarded with an indictment to the court.
