Law enforcement in Dnipropetrovsk has shut down a channel for the sale of military-grade firearms. Here are the details.

A 24-year-old resident of Zaporizhzhia set up a weapons workshop where he modified illegal firearms for the purpose of selling them. He posted advertisements online, offering Kalashnikov rifles for 35,000 hryvnias each.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region.

After reaching agreements with potential clients and receiving funds into a bank account, the dealer would send the goods by mail or leave the weapons at a predetermined location, then send the geolocation.

During the searches, police discovered an underground workshop equipped with machines and tools for weapon modification. The arms dealer also had a machine gun, a Browning pistol, and various parts of firearms, along with other material evidence.

On January 16, the perpetrator was informed of the suspicion under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
