Criminal police in Dnipro have apprehended a suspect in a robbery case.

On December 26, a 52-year-old man contacted the police to report a robbery in the city of Dnipro. The victim attempted to chase down the thief who had taken his bag containing personal belongings, but was unsuccessful. Subsequently, he reported the crime to law enforcement.

Employees of the Dnipro District Police Department No. 1, after clarifying all circumstances at the scene, began searching for those involved in the crime. As a result of their efforts, the police detained a 35-year-old man under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. All stolen items were seized by the police.

On December 27, investigators informed the detainee of his suspicion in committing a criminal offense under part 4 of Article 186 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
