A minor and a repeat offender attempted to set fire to "Ukrzaliznytsia" facilities in Dnipropetrovsk region; they could face life imprisonment.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, two criminals have been arrested for orchestrating contract arsons. One of them is a 20-year-old repeat offender who has previously served time for theft, while the other is a 16-year-old student from a local college.

At the beginning of this year, a 20-year-old local resident set fire to two relay cabinets. This was reported by the press service of the Security Service of Ukraine.

A 16-year-old student was caught "in the act" while attempting to ignite a relay cabinet at a railway crossing near Kamianske. One of his subsequent tasks was to derail a freight train transporting equipment for the Armed Forces to the front lines.

During searches of the suspects, clothing, incendiary materials, and mobile phones containing evidence of the crimes were seized. Currently, the individuals have been notified of their suspicion under part 2 of article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (diversion committed under martial law). They face life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
