An FSB agent was apprehended in Dnipropetrovsk for directing enemy missiles at Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in the Pokrovsk direction.

The Security Service has thwarted new attempts by the FSB to expand its network of agents in the Donetsk region. As a result of counter-sabotage operations in the frontline areas of the region, an enemy agent was apprehended – a 47-year-old resident of the village of Dachne, who had been hiding in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

According to the case materials, the traitor directed Russian airstrikes on the positions of the Defense Forces in the Pokrovsk direction. The targets for the Russians included radio-electronic warfare stations and artillery fire positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which cover the front-line infantry units of the Ukrainian military.

To gather information, the woman independently traversed the area near the frontline and recorded the coordinates of potential targets. She sent the obtained information to her Russian handler in the form of text messages.

Feeling the inevitability of punishment, the traitor fled to Dnipropetrovsk region, where she attempted to "lie low." However, the SBU counterintelligence located her and arrested her in a rented apartment.

The perpetrator is currently suspected under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law). She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
