A man was arrested by Dnipro police after throwing a paintball grenade from a building balcony.

The high-rise building is located next to an educational institution, where police evacuated the children. There were no injuries reported among bystanders or students.

On February 11, the police received information about an explosion on Sofia Kovalevskaya Street in the Industrial District of the city. Preliminary investigations indicate that a perpetrator threw an airsoft grenade from the balcony of one of the apartments.

A investigative-operational group from the Dnipro District Police Department No. 2 and an explosives service are working at the scene.

The circumstances of the offense are being clarified by the police.
