Car theft leads to an accident: Dnipro police have apprehended a suspect.

Upon receiving the information, the officers from police station No. 4 of the Dnipro District Police Department immediately headed to the specified location. During the examination of the surrounding area, law enforcement discovered the stolen vehicle.

It turned out that the perpetrator lost control and collided with the curb.

The investigators detained a 33-year-old local resident with a previous conviction under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

On October 15, the man was informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Article 289 (illegal seizure of a vehicle) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to 5 years in prison.
