On the evening of Friday, October 11, unknown assailants opened fire on a vehicle carrying Russian police officers in the Republic of Ingushetia. This was reported by Russian media, according to UNN.
Details
The vehicle, belonging to the local center for combating "extremism," was attacked as it entered the city of Magas. The assailants who fired upon the vehicle fled the scene.
According to sources, three police officers were killed, all bearing the surname Aushiev. Also present in the vehicle was Adam Khankhoev, the deputy head of the center for combating "extremism" in Ingushetia. However, he reportedly was not harmed.

In February of this year, the Ukrainian parliament adopted a resolution recognizing the Ingush people's right to an independent state and condemned Russia for its crimes against them, including mass deportations and territorial seizures.
