The Ministry of Digital Transformation conducted a study of the drone manufacturing sector in collaboration with the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE) and the Brave1 cluster.
According to the Ministry of Digital Transformation, production capacities have risen from 300,000 drones in 2023 to 4 million in 2024.
The agency noted that after the launch of mass production, the focus has shifted to enhancing efficiency and implementing cutting-edge technologies. Experts predict that competition in the coming years will lead to the consolidation of manufacturers.
The Ministry also reported significant progress in the development of aerial, maritime, and ground drones, as well as advancements in electronic warfare systems. Key trends include the use of computer vision technologies, "swarm" systems, and innovations in navigation and communication.
