The law enforcement officers determined that while strolling in a local park, the perpetrator waited for owners to leave their belongings unattended and then stole them. The items taken by the suspect included a laptop and two mobile phones. Throughout September, a 51-year-old man with a prior conviction stole from three residents of Pyatykhatky.
Another suspect was apprehended in Vilnohirs'k. A 47-year-old man with a previous conviction broke into a summer cottage and stole a welding machine. He also took two bicycles that their owners had left near a supermarket and a pharmacy.
With the approval of the Zhovti Vody District Prosecutor's Office, both men have been notified of their suspicion in committing criminal offenses under part 4 of Article 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
