In Dnipro, authorities apprehended a dealer involved in the illegal sale of trophy weapons from Russian forces.
The Security Service and the National Police have thwarted the illegal sale of trophy weapons and ammunition in four additional regions of Ukraine. During a series of coordinated operations in Dnipro, as well as in the Zakarpattia, Ternopil, and Zhytomyr regions, seven underground arms dealers were apprehended.

A local entrepreneur was detained in Dnipro for illegally exporting trophy weapons from areas of former combat on the eastern front to sell to criminals. To conceal the storage of these weapons, the individual set up a hideout on the premises of his auto repair shop.
According to the SBU's materials, the detainee has been charged under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of weapons, military ammunition, or explosives). He faces up to 7 years in prison.
