In Dnipro, a man stole a phone from a 9-year-old child.
Officers from the criminal police of the Department No. 1 of the Dnipro District Police Department worked at the crime scene and initiated a search for the attacker. As a result of their efforts, within a few hours, the police apprehended the suspect and seized the boy's phone from him.
The attacker was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
On December 28, investigators informed the detainee of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense as stipulated in part 4 of Article 186 (robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For the crime committed, the man could face up to 10 years in prison.
