A 55-year-old man was arrested in Zaporizhia after he attempted to kill an acquaintance at their home.
On October 17 at 5:45 PM, a woman called the police department to report that her ex-partner had been stabbed by an acquaintance.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Zaporizhzhia region reported this.
Police have determined the circumstances of the crime and identified the perpetrator. He turned out to be a 55-year-old local man with a prior history of serious criminal convictions. Motivated by animosity, he armed himself with a knife, went to the home of a Zaporizhzhia resident, and attempted to kill him.
Investigators located and apprehended the assailant. The detectives informed him of the charges against him for committing the crime as stipulated in part 2 of article 15 and part 1 of article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
