A man was arrested in Kryvyi Rih for robbing an 8-year-old boy.

The incident occurred on October 7 near a building in the Central City District. A man approached a schoolboy from behind, snatched a gadget from his hands, and fled the scene.

Employees of the Kryvyi Rih District Police promptly apprehended a suspect in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

The robber turned out to be a 28-year-old local resident with a prior criminal record. He was found in possession of a mobile phone, which the police confiscated.

Currently, investigators, in coordination with the Kryvyi Rih Central District Prosecutor's Office, have informed the individual of his suspicion of committing a criminal offense as stipulated by Part 4 of Article 186 (robbery)

of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The issue of selecting a preventive measure is being addressed.
