A suspect has been arrested by law enforcement in Nikopol for robbing a pensioner near a church.
A woman with a history of property crimes has stolen gold jewelry from a 75-year-old victim and fled the scene. The incident occurred on October 15 at around noon on Shatokhina Street in the city of Pokrov.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region reported this.
The victim stated that an unfamiliar woman approached her and offered to "read her fortune," to which she replied that she had no money. After that, the perpetrator removed the woman's gold earrings from her ears and left.
The victim provided law enforcement with a detailed description of the stranger and the stolen earrings – within a few hours, the suspect was located and apprehended.
Currently, the perpetrator has been informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense as stipulated in part 4 of Article 186 (robbery committed under martial law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
