In northern Poland, plans are underway to establish a missile defense base, according to Sikorsky.

In the coming weeks, a missile defense base will be operational in the Polish village of Redzikowo. It will also intercept Russian missiles heading towards Poland. This was announced by Poland's Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, as reported by PAP, and noted by UNN.

Sikorski emphasized that he has been negotiating for air defense missiles to be able to intercept not only Iranian missiles aimed at the United States but also Russian missiles targeting Poland.

The Polish Foreign Minister believes that the country has the right to shoot down Russian missiles in Ukrainian airspace if they pose a threat to nuclear power plants. This is Sikorski's personal opinion, and no official decisions have been made.
