In Pyatykhatky, a 35-year-old thief was apprehended after committing four crimes in a week.

This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The police established that at the beginning of October, the suspect stole power tools from a private property while the owner was inside the house.

Later, while passing by a store, the perpetrator noticed a man placing his gadget on a shelf. He seized the opportunity and stole the victim's phone.

The suspect also took mobile phones from acquaintances: one was snatched from a bag during a meeting, while another was taken during a visit at home.

In agreement with the Zhovti Vody District Prosecutor's Office, the man was informed of charges under part 4 of Article 185 (theft) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The penalty for this article provides for imprisonment for a term of five to eight years.
