5,000 hryvnias and 40 liters of gasoline: a man in Dnipropetrovsk region is facing trial for attempting to bribe police officers.
A 46-year-old offender offered law enforcement officials 5,000 hryvnias and 40 liters of gasoline to evade consequences for driving under the influence. This incident occurred in late December in the village of Spaske, located in the Dnipro district.

The press service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region reported this.
Law enforcement officers stopped a vehicle for violating traffic rules, finding that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. In an attempt to evade responsibility, the man offered a bribe to the police officers.
A forensic investigative team arrived at the scene and documented the offense. The man has now been notified of suspicion under Article 369 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He faces up to 4 years of imprisonment.
