He emphasized that it all depends on how Ukraine and others perceive fairness—whether similarly or differently. In particular, this depends on the new U.S. administration, the EU, their independence, and also on the Global South.

"The question is whether Ukraine will be alone as it was in the Normandy format, with everyone else, or whether Ukraine will be with allies and this time be alone. That is what fair negotiations are about," Zelensky added.
