The prosecutor's office has initiated a pre-trial investigation into the shooting of four Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Donetsk region. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, as noted by UNN.
Details
It has been reported that two of the prisoners were left lying on the ground while the other two were taken to the road. Subsequently, all four Ukrainian soldiers were cynically shot by the occupiers, grossly violating the provisions of the Geneva Conventions.
Currently, investigative actions are being carried out to establish all the circumstances surrounding the crime.
Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched regarding the commission of a war crime that resulted in loss of life (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
